The site so far tells the preparation story, the work is now to begin in earnest.

 

I will be removing the front wings (inner and outer) and nose panels to gain access to the engine compartment in full so that I can make a full service count.

 

Also this will expose the front road lighting units that will get the once over twice before covering them up again.

 

I will then also have the ability to examine in detail the front armatures (chassis supports for the front end panels) and main chassis arms, engine mounts, cooling system and suspension.

 

 

I plan my next upload / update for 4 weeks time, around mid April by which time I should have got some work done.

Sorry I  have not been updating this site as promised originally but our motorcaravan gave up the ghost and I have had to replace it. The conversion files are on my temporary post site at Tesco.Net. I will get the SS1 underway again when this is done - family holidays come first!
